27-Year-Old Found Stabbed To Death On Blue Point Beach

Suffolk County Police responded to Blue Point Beach, at the end of Blue Point Avenue, after a passerby reported a body on the beach at around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 4.

Officers located Carlos Lopez, 27, of Central Islip, with multiple stab wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Authorities did not speculate on how long Lopez was there or what led up to his killing.

No suspects had been arrested as of Tuesday afternoon.
